ACT UP London PIN-UPS Calendar 2025 – Launch Event

You are warmly invited to the launch of the gorgeous, sexy, informative and inspiring ‘AIDS Coalition to Unleash Power (ACT UP) PIN-UPS 2025 Calendar launch’ from 5-8pm at Positive East on the evening of Wednesday 25th September. 

Not only does the calendar consist of 12 portraits of titans in our incredible HIV / AIDS activist movement but also a litany of inspiring advances in medical, media, protest and social movement dates which have pushed forward our collective journey for access to healthcare for all.

To celebrate we will have speeches by those involved in the calendar curation, performances, food and DJ sets by two of the ACT UP led ‘This is My Culture’ party residents @knayohmi draws inspiration from the soulful sounds of disco and Motown, merging them with the pulsating beats of modern tech house. Growing up on these classic genres, Knayohmi crafts sets that are a dynamic fusion of funky vibes and innovative electronic sounds. @MICKY XOV also plays at some of our favourite London parties (Riposte, HOWL, Minx Inc…) and is known for their high-speed sets, which fuse queer club music with grittier free party sounds.
